Duality I
By Bahaa Jawhari
"Duality I" explores the coexistence of opposing forces within a single identity—light and shadow, calm and intensity, the self we show and the self we keep. Through warm, luminous tones and expressive brushstrokes, the painting captures the delicate balance between contrasts.
Conceived as a pair with "Duality II," this piece reflects on how opposites do not cancel each other out, but complete one another. Its intimate scale invites a closer, more personal encounter with the artwork and the questions it raises about balance and inner harmony.
